Bakers Quay
In joint venture with Merchant Place Developments, Rokeby has purchased the 4.13 acre Bakers Quay site within Gloucester Docks, to implement a £60.0 mil. regeneration of this important city centre site.
The Downings
Downing's Warehouse is a complex of four buildings. A new application has been submitted for 117 apartments in a new 10-storey tower and separate reconstructed warehouse building.
The Malthouse
The Malthouse is the largest building in Bakers Quay and it is intended to convert the building into 88 apartments and 11,000 sqft of shared office space.
The Transit Shed
The Transit Shed will be a re-constructed restaurant building incorporating the structure of the original listed building overlooking the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal and Tow Path.
78 West Street
Rokeby was appointed by Royal London Asset Management to manage the development of a new 127-bedroom hotel and restaurant at 78 West Street, Brighton. Work commenced on site in March 2020 and the development has now been sold to Whitbread as an initial phase of a new Premier Inn.
Merchant Park
Merchant Park is a 65 acre development at Aycliffe Business Park on J59 of the A1(M). Home to one of the largest inward investment manufacturing developments in recent years
Station Place
Rokeby has been appointed development managers by Merchant Anglo to promote a new 50,000 sqft of individual starter units with an individual size of 3,000 sqft – 5,000 sqft.
Provender
Provender is a new building of 47 apartments and 4,210 sqft of ground floor café/restaurant accommodation in the Bakers Quay development.
Premier Inn
The first phase of the Bakers Quay development includes the construction of a new 104 bed Premier Inn hotel, Beefeater restaurant and Costa café.
Costa Coffee
A new Costa drive-thru was completed in conjunction with the construction of the Premier Inn.
The Pipeworks
Rokeby, in joint venture with Peveril Securities, purchased Hepworth’s former production plant in Swadlincote town centre in 2010 to develop The Pipeworks, a £15million mixed use retail, cinema, restaurant and housing scheme to rejuvenate the town centre.
Tynedale Rail Park
Rokeby entered into a agreement with Wm Morrison and Network Rail to promote the regeneration of the former goods yard into a retail led, mixed use development adjacent to the listed station.
Antelope Park
Antelope Park comprises of approximately 170,000 sq ft of accommodation on a 9 acre site, the development is anchored by a 45,000 sq ft retail unit let to The Range.
Surtees Business Park
Rokeby acquired a nine acre site from George Wimpey in June 2006 and subsequently obtained planning consent for Surtees Business Park, comprising 130,000 sq ft of offices and employment accommodation' in December 2007.
North End High Street
Rokeby entered into a Development Agreement with the landowner Wm Morrison to promote a 30,000 sq ft non-food retail site. Terms were subsequently agreed with Homebase and Halfords to construct two new retail units.
Gosforth Business Park Phase 3
Rokeby entered into a joint venture with AWG Developments to carry out the speculative development of 64,000 sq ft of offices at the entrance to Gosforth Business Park.
Gosforth Business Park Phase 4
Rokeby completed two office buildings as the fourth phase at Gosforth Business Park. Constructed to an innovative specification with comfort cooling, raised access floors and high levels of natural light.
Greens Health & Fitness Centre
A new 37,000 sq ft Greens Health & Fitness Centre was completed in March 2002 for DeVere. The construction took place following a successful public inquiry to obtain change of use from employment use to ancillary leisure use.
The Business Village
Rokeby secured planning consent for 96,000 sq ft of office accommodation in Spring 2004. The aim was to create a Business Village with individual office buildings of 2,500 sq ft to 5,500 sq ft, surrounding a landscaped courtyard.
BT Call Centre
A new 148,000 sq ft call centre was constructed for BT in December 1997 at a cost in excess of £10 million. The two storey building was constructed in 28 weeks from commencement on site.
Denton Park Shopping Centre
Rokeby assembled and subsequently sold the existing Denton Park shopping centre to Wm Morrison and was reappointed as Development Manager.
Wm Morrison Store
Rokeby Developments, together with Centros Miller, were selected by Newcastle City Council as their private sector partner to implement a £25 million regeneration scheme at Shields Road, Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Phase 2B Shields Road
Rokeby as part of its Development Agreement with Newcastle City Council secured planning consent for an additional 6,000 sq ft of high street retail accommodation, with offices above.
