Planning permission was granted in 2024 for the construction of 269,000 sqft of industrial/ warehousing accommodation to be constructed in three units comprising 52,500 sqft, 86,000 sqft and 120,000 sqft.
Work started in January 2025on site with the initial £ 9.0 mil Unit 1 comprising 52,500 sqft and supporting infrastructure. A senior debt package was provided by FW Capital under the North East Commercial Property Investment Fund which is backed by The North East Combined Authority (NECA). Work is scheduled for completion in September 2025.
