Rokeby recommence work on hotel site at 78 West Street, Brighton

Rokeby has recommenced work on its Premier Inn hotel site at 78 West Street. Originally started on 9th March 2020 works had to suspended because of lockdown. The enabling works package, let to Southern Demolition, we are delighted to announce has now restarted. This will include stripping out the building and demolition of the upper floors.

Paul Hunt of Southern Demolition stated “we have fully reviewed our method statement with regard to Covid Safe Working Practices in the current challenging environment of a demolition site and remain confident.”

Adrian Goodall of Rokeby advised “safety is paramount for us, however we believe Southern Demolition will deliver on programme for us and remain positive we will be handing over a hotel to Premier Inn in late summer of 2022.”
