Rokeby as part of its Development Agreement with Newcastle City Council secured planning consent for an additional 6,000 sq ft of high street retail accommodation, with offices above. Constructed by Interserve, the building was completed in February 2009.
The development is fully let and tenants include: Greggs, Norchem, BHB, Marie Curie, Grainger Games and Cairns Cards.
Previously, Rokeby was responsible for the development of a 70,000 sq ft Morrison’s foodstore, 30,000 sq ft Gala Bingo Hall and KFC restaurant as part of the regeneration strategy.
