Hebburn Shopping Centre

Rokeby acquired Hebburn Shopping Centre in 2006 in conjunction with Asda Stores Ltd with the intention of upgrading the shopping centre and introducing a new anchor foodstore.

Rokeby identified a scheme of refurbishment works for the centre including new shop fronts, canopies, external works and street furniture.

Mid-way through the project Asda Stores Ltd acquired an adjacent Netto foodstore and the project was restructured around the conversion of the Netto store, creating a more cost efficient solution for Asda whilst maintaining the original strategy for the shopping centre upgrade.
